The Russian tuning company TopCar is the next in proposing a kit for the new 2012 Porsche 911.

And they’ve come up with a proper makeover for the car. In TopCar’s view the new 911 should get new bumpers front and rear with many holes and ducts and air intakes! Then for good measure the rear fenders should also be vented. They must be worried about the engine’s cooling system.

Obviously, you need a tail spoiler and four big tailpipes too. The thing is, all this stuff make the car look ridiculous. The only good part is the ADV1 wheels.

By the time the car is ready for launch, TopCar will sure offer a mighty power upgrade program as well.

Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Car Concept

Toyota is going to show to the world its latest Hybrid sport car concept at the Detroit auto show. The new concept is called the FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept. It is a 2-door sports coupe using the Lexus GS450h engine which can put out 400 horsepower.

By combining a 197hp electric engine with a 292hp 3.5L V6, Toyota has created a sports car version of the GS450h – a car that was supremely quick but turned into a yacht when you wanted to take a corner. And with its light weight, the FT-HS should be able to hit the 60mph mark in just 4 seconds, undercutting the GS450h by over a second.

Audi scoop special: Audi A3 revealed

The new A3 won’t arrive until 2011 – making today’s A3 a veritable pensioner by the time the new one arrives. So Audi is throwing the kitchen sink at the next A3, with new models like a four-door saloon to pep up Aud’s US sales push, as Ingolstadt targets 200,000 units a year Stateside.

The A3 saloon will slot in between BMW’s 1- and 3-series saloons – Audi is confident there is room now that the latest A4 has swollen to within 140mm of the 5-series.
So what other A3 bodystyles will there be?

There will of course be a sleek three-door A3 that’s said to be a mix of coupé and shooting brake, a notably roomier five-door Sportback and a successor to today's A3 cabriolet based on the notchback. The most popular A3 variant globally is still the Sportback, which might face a 1-series Touring by 2011.

The new A3 will be the first VW Group product based on the exciting new modular transverse components set (dubbed MQB in Audispeak), ushering in a new generation of Audi engines, mostly upgraded four-cylinder units:

2011 Toyota Compact FR Sports - new rendering and infos

7Tune revealed new details regarding the future sports car developed in cooperation by Toyota and Subaru. And we will start with a bad new regarding the sports car set to be released in 2011, where will be no WRX or STi versions. A good news though: there might be a convertible version.

The sports car will be based on a 100mm shorter Subaru Legacy platform and will be powered by a 2.0L four cylinder boxer engine from the Impreza with a power output of 190 hp. A 6-speed gearbox will be offered initially with an automatic transmission being offered later. Weight is expected to be around 1200kg.
